After 6 months of reconstruction works in the Deutsch-Japanisches Center, now 42 new exectuive rooms have been opened by Dirk Elbers, lord mayor of Düsseldorf and Bertold Reul, General Manager of the hotel nikko düsseldorf. They cut together the red band on the glass bridge that connects the main wing of the hotel with the new wing.

Like in 2008, the 4-star-superior house will be expanded by a new hotel wing with a total of 1.740 m² base area and contain elegant designed executive rooms and suites. With the modification of the new wing the hotel nikko düsseldorf will become the largest hotel downtown with 386 rooms and suites in 8 different categories.

Noble décor and more comfort

Guests, who book this category, will enjoy special service benefits: The nikko spa club is included in the hotel price and modern Lavazza coffee machines in the rooms will guarantee a perfect start of the day. The spacious bathrooms in light marble either contain a large bathtub or a rain shower. Just like in the spa area, the high-quality hair and skincare products of the British Molton Brown series are for the guests in the rooms, free to use.

Additionally six already existing rooms will be rebuild into so-called “Murphy rooms”. These are rooms, which can be transformed easily from a conference room equipped with modern technical devices into a guest room. The clue is: The bed vanishes into the wall closet. Nevertheless the comfort of the Murphy rooms is just a comfortable as any of the executive rooms. Including these Murphy rooms, the hotel nikko will have 18 function rooms.
